In her opening remarks, Sr. Dorothy Dawes reminded alumnae that the college founders came to New Orleans from Cabra, Ireland in the 19th century.
The Sister Mary Beatrice Distinguished Service Award was presented to alumnae newsletter editor Kathleen Laun Pons.
The Parade of Prizes under the guidance of Ruth Moise Varisco drew much attention and added $403 to the alumnae treasury.
Special honorees were the members of the classes of '47 (60 years), '52 (55 years), '57 (50 years), '67 (40 years), '77 (30 years), and '82 (25 years).
Donations collected from these honor classes for the Dominican Sisters totaled $3,720.

Fee is $5.00 for the first transcript and $4.00 for the second one if sent at the same time.
