Coming Events

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 10:30am with prayers and sharing followed by Mass at 11:15am at the Dominican Sisters Motherhouse chapel, 540 Broadway (2nd floor), New Orleans.

Homecoming 2009 will be held at the Colonial Golf and Country Club on Saturday, November 7, 2009.  The event will begin with Mass followed by a social hour and then luncheon. Mark your calendar.  More details will follow here and in the next "Heritage Renewed".

Spring Activities

Day at the Races was held on Saturday, March 7, at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans.  A group of about 20 alums, spouses and guests gathered. Everyone ordered from the menu;  seems like Corned Beef was a definite favorite. No one hit a major jackpot, but an enjoyable time was had by all.  The photographer (me) had equipment malfunction so there are no pictures to show.

Cocktails by Candlelight was held on Saturday, April 18, 5 to 7 p.m. in Veritas Hall.  The attendance was small but those who did come enjoyed visiting with friends and classmates. Our scholarship winner was in attendance with her parents and grandmother.
